Charles Xavier is Professor X, a mutant telepath of extraordinary ability. The founder of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters and leader of the X-Men, Xavier dreams of a brighter future where human and mutant can live together in peace and harmony.

A long-time archrival of Professor X, the Shadow King may be a man, or he may be an interdimensional monster. Either way, he has the power to possess and contort the wills of others. This ability makes him a dangerous foe on both the physical and the astral planes.
